Gujarat NMMS

The Gujarat National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, popularly known as Gujarat NMMS, is a state-level scholarship examination conducted by the State Examination Board (SEB), Gujarat under the centrally-sponsored National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme. The exam selects meritorious students from economically weaker sections studying in Class 8 in government and government-aided schools for the award of scholarships, payable during Classes 9 to 12 to encourage continued schooling. Held once a year in offline mode, the selection test typically comprises a Mental Ability Test (MAT) and a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) covering subjects studied up to Class 8.
