AISSEE

The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is a national-level entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to Sainik Schools across India. Sainik Schools are residential institutions that prepare students for entry into the National Defence Academy and other defence services. AISSEE is held once a year, generally for admission to Class 6 and Class 9, and tests students on subjects such as Mathematics, language, intelligence and general knowledge as applicable to the class. The exam is conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode at centres across the country.
