The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, popularly known as KCET, is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). KCET is held for admission to first-year undergraduate professional courses in Karnataka, including engineering, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy and allied programmes in government and private colleges across the state. The exam is conducted once a year in offline (pen and paper) mode and tests candidates primarily on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology based on the state Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
