The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test, commonly known as Karnataka TET (KARTET), is a state-level eligibility examination conducted by the School Education Department, Government of Karnataka. The test determines the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in schools across Karnataka. Karnataka TET is generally held in two papers – Paper 1 for primary-level (Classes 1–5) aspirants and Paper 2 for upper-primary-level (Classes 6–8) aspirants – in offline mode.
