The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme is a special initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aimed at facilitating the admission of foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) into premier technical institutions in India. The admissions are based on SAT scores.
