The Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate), known as CUET, is the national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes in central, state, deemed and private universities participating in the test. CUET provides a single window for UG admissions across a wide range of disciplines, replacing multiple separate university entrance exams. Held once a year in online (computer-based) mode, the exam covers language tests, domain-specific subjects and a general test, allowing candidates to choose subjects relevant to their desired courses. Eligibility is generally based on completion of Class 12. This page covers complete CUET details – eligibility, exam pattern, important dates, application process and preparation tips.
