The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in central government schools and schools under various central bodies. CTET comprises Paper 1 for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5 (primary) and Paper 2 for those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8 (upper primary).
