The CIFNET Common Entrance Test, known as CIFNET CET, is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Kochi, under the Government of India's Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. CIFNET CET is the gateway to programmes such as the Bachelor of Fisheries Science (Nautical Science) and trade courses including the Vessel Navigator Course and Marine Fitter Course. The test is generally conducted once a year and assesses candidates on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
