About CEED

CEED is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to M.Des and PhD design programmes at IITs, IISc and other participating institutes. It evaluates aptitude for design through a two-part test.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma (as specified) in any relevant discipline.

CEED Selection Process

• Appear for CEED and obtain a valid score.
• Apply separately to participating institutes for M.Des/PhD admission.
• Shortlisting may include portfolio review and/or interview as per institute norms.

How to Apply for CEED

1. Visit ceed.iitb.ac.in.
2. Register to generate login credentials.
3. Fill the application form with required details.
4. Upload photograph, signature and documents.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Submit and print the confirmation page.

How to Prepare for CEED

• Practise freehand sketching and visual rendering regularly.
• Solve previous years' CEED papers and mock tests.
• Strengthen logical reasoning and observation skills.
• Build a strong understanding of design fundamentals.
