NCHMCT JEE 2020 latest news – NTA has postponed NCHMCT JEE 2020, and extended the last date to apply. The last date for registration is April 30, 2020. NTA will take a decision on the new exam date after lockdown ends. In the meantime, candidates must fill and submit the application form for National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam at nchmjee.nta.nic.in. NCHMCT JEE 2020 is the national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration admissions in central, state, as well as private IHMs in India.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Postponed – Official Notice
The exam for NCHMCT JEE 2020 stands postponed for this year’s session due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The exam has been postponed due to the lockdown in the country and this step has been taken to reduce the mass gathering in one place. Earlier, the exam was supposed to take place on April 25, 2020. Recently, the exam conducting body announced the extension of the last date to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2020 which is April 30, 2020.
NTA will announce the new dates after the lockdown is over. Considering that the last date to apply which is April 30, 2020, it can be speculated that the exam might take place in the month of May 2020.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Application Form
Application form for NCHMCT JEE releases in the online mode at nchmjee.nta.nic.in. For filling the application form, the candidates need to keep the documents ready like scanned images of photograph and signature, details about debit card / credit card / net banking, mobile number, e-mail id. Follow the steps given below to fill the application form.
- Register by entering the necessary details and jot down the application number and password
- Login and fill the application form
- Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature
- Then, pay the application fee
- Select the city for the exam
- Lastly, preview the application form and take a printout of the form

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
- The candidates belonging to General category have to be 25 years of age as on July 01, 2020.
- Candidates belonging SC/ ST category must be 28 years of age as on July 01, 2020
- The candidates who are born after July 01, 1995 are also eligible.
Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with English
- The candidates who are still appearing in class 12th can also apply
Valid Qualification Examination for Indian Students
- 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
- High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University
- Intermediate or two year Pre-University examination conducted by recognized board / university.
- Any Public / Board / University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education.
- HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Open School with a minimum of 5 subjects including English.
Physical Fitness
Apart from fulfilling the eligibility criteria, the candidates need to submit Physical Fitness certificate at the time of admission from a registered medical practitioner in the proper format.

Candidates can download NCHMCT JEE 2020 admit card from nchmjee.nta.nic.in. It can be downloaded by entering the application number and date of birth / password. It is an important document that has to be taken to the exam centre so as to enter in the examination hall. Hall ticket consists of the details like name of the candidate, exam date, exam time, photograph and signature etc. Along with the admit card, the candidates need to carry a valid id proof and a passport size photograph.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Answer Key
National Testing Agency releases the answer key for NCHMCT JEE online at nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Candidates can use NCHMCT JEE answer key to cross-check the answers and have an estimate about the scores. Firstly, provisional answer keys are released on the official website. The candidates cam challenge these answer keys by submitting an application form and by paying Rs 200 per question.
After checking the errors and rectifying them, NTA releases a final answer key which cannot be further challenged. By using the final answer key, NCHMCT JEE result is compiled.
NCHMCT JEE 2020 Result
Result of NCHMCT JEE releases at nchmjee.nta.nic.in. NCHMJEE 2020 result is released in the form of a scorecard. After the declaration of result, All India Merit List is also published on the official website. The merit list is prepared according to the marks secured by the candidates in the computer-based test.
Tie Breaking Criteria
- Firstly, the marks in English will be considered
- If the tie still persists, then, the marks in Service Aptitude Component will be considered
- If there is still a tie, then, candidates older in age will be given higher rank

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling and Seat Allocation
After the declaration of results, the candidates are required to appear for counselling. All the eligible candidates have to register first for the counselling. Candidates have to generate their login and then have to enter the personal details like name, category, mother’s name, father’s name etc.
After the registration, the candidates are required to lock their choices of institutes according to their preferences. After locking the choices, the candidates have to check the seat allotment result on the official website. After the seat allotment, the candidates have to then appear at the reporting centers with the proper set of documents for verification purposes.
