The issuance of JEE Main 2020 admit card has been postponed twice now. Latest update is that NTA will conduct JEE Main April 2020 in the last week of May and release the admit card anytime after April 15. It is expected that NTA will release the admit card at least 2 weeks before the new exam date. Initially the JEE Main admit card was supposed to be released on March 20, which was delayed to March 31 due to the postponement of JEE Mains. Then once again due to the lockdown the release date has been pushed back. Revised schedule is expected after the lockdown ends.

NTA has published two notices regarding the postponement of JEE Main April 2020 exam, and admit card release. The last notice came on 31st March.

Previously, this notice was released on 18th March.

Waiting for the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card is one of the lesser worries. What is more crucial right now is the last lap of preparations for your exam. How to download the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card? Steps Explained
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
There on the official website, you will see the link to download JEE Main 2020 Admit Card. And this is what you have to click.

Step 2: Login.
In front of you are two options – either select “through application number and password”, or select “through application number and date of birth”.

If you selected the first one, then you have to enter application number and password in order to login.
However if you selected the latter, then you need to login with application number and date of birth.

Step 3: Click the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card download link in dashboard.
Upon logging in, what you see before you is the candidate dashboard. Now in the dashboard, you will get the link “download admit card”. This is what you have to click next.

Step 4: Download and print the JEE Main 2020 admit card.
Now after the last step, either the admit card PDF directly downloads to your device. Or you will have to click on a pop up and then it gets downloaded. Either ways, once it does, save the pdf file. And then take a printout of it.
It is good to be prepared with the knowledge of steps to download the JEE Main 2020 admit card, even before the admit card is issued. This is because then you will keep the details, that you need to get the document, carefully. And also, you will not panic in case something does not work that day.
What to do if unable to download JEE Main Admit Card?
As soon as NTA releases the admit card of JEE Main, some candidates start complaining that they are facing issues in downloading it. In most case, the problem lies either in the internet connection, or browser, or login credentials.
Internet is the problem? Please disconnect from the connection and connect again. Or try again in some time.
Browser is the problem? Please try in a different browser, more recent and updated one.
Login credentials are the problem? Use the JEE Main 2020 login forgot password, forgot application number links to reset password or get application number.
If the problem still persists, the issue could be with NTA / NIC server. So in that case, try downloading the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card again in some time.
However if issue still persists, then get in touch with NTA. You should not wait for the last date to download the admit card.
Instructions for JEE Main 2020 Admit Card Printout
NTA suggests that you take a color printout of the admit card, on an A4 size white paper. Before printing, check the printer settings to ensure best results.
After taking the print out, there is no need to laminate the document. However take all precautions to keep the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card safely and not damage it in any way.
Do not fold it or tear it. Do not staple anything to it. Do not drop water or any food on it to put any mark. If you are keeping the document in your bag make sure there is no leaking pen or anything like that so it does not get damaged in any way.

JEE Main 2020 Exam Day Guidelines, Documents To Take, Exam Timings
You should carry the following things to the exam center on the day of exam:
- JEE Main 2020 admit card printout
- Passport size photograph same as uploaded in application form – to paste in attendance sheet
- Any one valid photo identification proof issued by the government such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID, 12th class board admit card or registration card, passport, aadhaar card with photo, e-aadhaar card, ration card, aadhaar enrolment number with photo
- Only for PWD candidates – PWD Certificate
- Only for Paper 2 B.Arch candidates – Geometry box set, pencils, erasers, color pencils or crayons (WATER COLORS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON DRAWING SHEET)
NTA will provide pen or pencil, and blank paper for rough work at the center.
Do not take anything else like books, notebooks, log books, calculators, mobile phone, bluetooth to the center or inside the hall.
Exam Timings
The exam timings are as follows.

Here are the special instructions for the same:
- Candidates who will appear for B.Arch+B.Plan will have 3.5 hours for exam. That is they will sit from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
- All candidates must report to exam centre at least 2 hours before exam.
- Those who will be wearing kara or kirpan must report to the exam center at least 1.5 hours before gate closing time.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Reach the exam center on time.
- Take all the relevant documents with you.
- Do not take any banned items inside (only take allowed items).
- Be seated at the seat allotted only. Allocated seat will be indicated at the exam center.
- Do not leave the assigned seat, or exam room, or center without permission of authorities.
