The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, popularly known as NATA, is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to the five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme across participating institutions in India. NATA assesses a candidate's aptitude for architecture through tests of drawing, observation, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking and other related abilities. The test is conducted in multiple sessions during the year, giving candidates more than one opportunity to appear. A valid NATA score is required by many architecture colleges for admission.
